Casual Worship - 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays in the Welcoming Area

Our Casual Worship service takes place on Saturday evening at 5:30 p.m. in our Welcoming Area. You'll find an intimate, meaningful worship time with contemporary music, scripture, a message, and more.  Pastor Doug leads this service most weeks, with Pastor Emily leading once monthly.  Come as you are, and expect the service to last under an hour.

Traditional Worship in the sanctuary - 10:15 a.m. on Sundays

Our traditional worship service begins at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday morning in the sanctuary. This service includes traditional hymns led by a pipe organ, prayers, Scripture, sermon, and a special time for children. A cry room is provided for young children if necessary, and the nursery is available for children under 5.  

 

 

Special Services

Ash Wednesdayright-200
Each year, we gather on Ash Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. to mark the beginning of Lent with ashes and the Lord's Supper.  During this service, we reflect on our mortality and give special attention to our need to repent and turn toward God's mercy and love.

Maundy Thursday
During this yearly service, we remember the night of Christ’s betrayal by sharing in the Lord’s Supper together.  We also observe the events of Good Friday and dramatically undress the altar as we experience the weight of the grief of Holy Week.

Easter Worship
We celebrate the Resurrection in worship with a variety of special elements including the musical leadership of a brass quintet. We also share Communion and add flowers to the Easter cross, symbolizing how the resurrection transforms the cross from a symbol of death and shame to a symbol of hope and new life!

Blue Christmas
The Advent and Christmas seasons can sometimes be really hard. When your holiday feels like mix of joy and melancholy, you can trust you aren’t alone. In mid-December, we offer a low-key Blue Christmas service where we light candles to symbolize our prayers and share communion together.  

Christmas Eve Services
We offer two Christmas Eve services, one at 5:00 p.m. and one at 9:00 p.m.  Both include carols, Scripture, candle-lighting, and a message.  Our 9:00 p.m. service also includes a string quartet, the chancel choir, and communion.  The string quartet offers pre-service music beginning at 8:30 p.m.  

We welcome the Christ child together celebrating the light that shines in a darkness powerless to overcome it!
