Sunday School

Children and Youth Sunday School classes meet during the school year from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.  Our adult classes meet during that same time, and some even meet year-round.

Children and Youth Sunday School

Nursery: Miss Randi Wink-Bowman, along with a volunteer assistant, provide nursery care for children up to three years old during the Sunday School hour.   Note:  Nursery Care is also offered during the 10:15 worship service for children ages birth-pre-K. 

Pre-K/Kindergarten (ages 4-Kindergarten): Taught by Miss Alex Hoffman & Miss Judy Kattmann.

Grades 1-6:  Our Director of Fellowship and Faith Formation, Miss Margaret, leads this combined class, which frequently breaks into groups for deeper discussion and activities.  She is assisted by Miss Dee Carithers, Miss Paula Courtney, and Miss Jackie Kuhn (all retired school teachers).

Grades 7-12:  Taught by Miss Niki Traylor and Mr. Mike Slade.

Confirmation Class

Bethlehem has a strong tradition of Confirmation, which helps prepare our sixth and seventh graders for full church membership.  We have classes every other school year, and they are taught by Pastor Emily during the Sunday School hour.  Confirmands are paired with adult mentors and older youth to help shepherd them through this important year of growth and development in their faith journey.
